Bella’s Terms of Agreement
- Tastings: Our tastings are $30.
Payment is due at time of scheduling, and is non-refundable if tasting
is canceled, but can be put towards one rescheduled appointment.
The fee is deducted from your final bill, should you choose Bella’s to provide
your cake. During the meeting, we will
discuss the design of your cake, so please bring any pictures, invitations,
etc, that may help us come up with something perfect for your event. The
tasting lasts 1 hour and we ask that you arrive on time to ensure that you are
allotted your full hour. If you should need to reschedule, or cancel, we
ask that you contact us no later than 48 hours in advance, due to us having to
prepare your selections the day of your appointment.
- Deposits: A
25% non-refundable deposit is required at time of order. The remainder of the balance is due upon
delivery. No desserts will be delivered
if payment is not received. For orders over $500.00, the full balance must be paid 2 weeks prior to the event, and is non-refundable.

4. Alteration to orders: Any alterations to the original order
must be confirmed in writing and may be subject to an additional charge.
Late changes to orders are often possible and every effort will be made
to accommodate changes, but this cannot be guaranteed.
- Cancellation
of orders: In
the event of cancellation, work already completed is chargeable.
- Other
cakes: Bella’s
will not provide a wedding cake when other sheet cakes, cupcakes, homemade
cakes, or grooms cakes are provided by any other baker. My reputation has been
built on carefully crafted, delicious cakes, and I feel it would impact my
reputation. If cakes from another source
are present at your reception, the cake ordered from Bella’s will be removed
from the wedding site, and can be picked up at Bella’s the following day, or it
will be donated to a local charity.
Absolutely no refunds will be given.
- Surcharges: Should you book your event 6 months
or more in advance, please be advised that a surcharge may be added on to your quote, should prices of
ingredients as well as fuel keep rising.
Bella’s will contact you no more than 1 month in advance of your event to
advise you of the surcharges, should they apply.
