Tastings

Our tastings are $30.  Payment is due at time of scheduling, and is non-refundable if tasting is canceled, but can be put towards one rescheduled appointment.  The fee is deducted from your final bill, should you choose Bella’s to provide your cake.  If you should need to reschedule, or cancel, we ask that you contact us no later than 48 hours in advance, due to us having to prepare your selections the day of your appointment. 

Deposits

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to book your date.  The remainder of the balance is due three weeks prior to delivery.     No desserts will be delivered if payment is not received and cleared.

Alteration to orders:

      Any alterations to the original order must be confirmed in writing and may be subject to
      an additional charge.  Late changes to orders are often possible and every effort will be
      made to accommodate changes, but this cannot be guaranteed. Changes of dates, may
      incur additional charges. 

Cancellation of orders:

In the event of cancellation, work already completed is chargeable, and deposits are non-refundable.  If an event is cancelled within 2 weeks of the event, all monies are non-refundable.

Other cakes:

If you plan on offering any other desserts or cakes at your wedding, Bella’s must be advised ahead of time.   My reputation has been built on carefully crafted, delicious cakes, and I feel it would impact my reputation.   It needs to made clear to the venue and your guests, if asked, that the desserts were provided by someone other than Bella's.

Surcharges:

      Should you book your event 6 months or more in advance, please be advised that a
      surcharge may be added  on to your quote, should prices of ingredients as well as fuel
      keep rising.  Bella’s will contact you no less  than 1 month in advance of your event to
      advise you of the surcharges, should they apply.

Damages:

       We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup is complete.  You are

       responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the
       cake(s).   Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table,  and optimal room temperature of
        75 degrees or below.

Fresh Flowers: 

        If flowers are provided by an outside source.  You acknowledge that fresh flowers are 
              not a food  product, and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants.

Transportation: 

       If you or your representative elect to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability
             and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Bella’s possession.  
             We offer a discounted delivery rate for Cupcake Towers and Wedding Cakes.

Allergens: 

      Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other
                      allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic
                     reactions.
