What can I expect to pay for a wedding cake?
Our wedding cakes start at $2.75 per serving for the basics.   The final price will be determined by the style of cake, number of servings, labor involved and the materials & ingredients necessary to create it. 

Additional expenses may be incurred if you would like to order a custom made cake board; have us order fresh flowers for your cake; or if we need to purchase any additional pieces for your cake.

How far in advance do I need to order a wedding cake?
We reserve wedding dates 1 month and out.

May I taste your cakes before reserving the date with you?
Absolutely!   When you and your Fiancée, or guest, come for your Wedding Cake Consultation, we will present you with a number of our cakes and buttercreams to sample.  We request that only one other person comes with you for consultations, as we have found, the more people involved, the less cake work gets done!  Our tastings are $30, and include a variety of cakes to sample.  Payment is due at time of scheduling, and is non-refundable if tasting is canceled, but can be put towards one rescheduled appointment if appointment is canceled at least 24 hours prior to our meeting.   The tasting fee is put towards your order, should you decide to contract us to provide your cake.  We perform tastings weekdays and Saturdays.

How long are consultations, and must I bring anything with me?
Wedding cake consultations last 1 hour.  We ask that you arrive on time to ensure that you are allotted your full hour.  Before you arrive, we ask that you have a budget for what you would like to spend on your cake.  This will give us a better sense of what we can do for you.  We recommend you bring with you any ideas you may have for your cake, flowers, dresses, table decorations, etc.  Any design direction, no matter how limited, is most helpful in giving us an idea of your dream cake!   If you should need to reschedule, or cancel, we ask that you contact us no later than 48 hours in advance, due to us having to prepare your tasting the day of.

Do I have to make a deposit to reserve my wedding date?  If so, how much is it and can I get a refund, if necessary?
Yes, you will need to make a 25% deposit to reserve your wedding date.  We will base your deposit on the total quoted amount.  We ask that you be absolutely certain that you would like to work with us, as all deposits are non-refundable.  We accept cash, checks, Google Checkout, or Paypal (both with a 5% service fee).  All orders must be paid in full 3 weeks prior to your wedding. 

Do you deliver your cakes?
We can deliver cakes throughout  Southeast Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, Northern Delaware, and Northern Maryland.   Fees are based on time and mileage round trip.

Do you ship wedding cakes?
Sorry, we do not ship cakes, but we do ship wedding favor cookies, as well as some of our other desserts.

Do you accept credit cards?
We do not accept credit cards directly, but you may pay by credit card via Paypal or Google Checkout, with a 5% service charge (that is what we are charged).  We also accept checks, and of course, cash.
